Features and Applications:

Features:

* A solid solution state high-strength austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with controlled carbon, aluminum, titanium, silicon and manganese; has the same austenitic organization as austenitic stainless steels, and has roughly the same processing properties for hot working and cooling as austenitic steels.

* Very good corrosion and high temperature resistance, good mechanical properties at sub-zero, room temperature and 600°C high temperature, good oxidation resistance, reduction, nitriding properties, easy processability.

* Welding can be done by TIG welding, MIG welding and manual arc welding as standard austenitic stainless steel.

* High tolerance to oxidation as well as carburization in high temperature environment due to its high Ni and Cr content.

Applications:

* Overmolded electric heater jacket tubes, thermocouple protection tubes, heat treatment furnaces, and materials used in high-temperature environments.

* Heating element tubes – very good mechanical properties.

* Acetic anhydride cracking – resistant to corrosion during processing.

* For applications in environments up to 600°C.
